Setting The Tone
Clarity creates momentum. Whether it’s defining a simple, focused strategy with the V/TO, asking whether your team is truly aligned, or recognizing the power of strong relationships, growth doesn’t happen by accident.
It happens when leaders slow down long enough to get clear on where they’re going, simplify how they’ll get there, and stay connected to the people who make it possible.
New year, new strategy
2026 is officially here.
And whether your team spent time over the holidays refining your plan, or you’re just now turning the page, this is the perfect moment to ask: are we 100% clear on where we’re going this year? Are we set up to get there together?
Your next 12 months will be shaped by what you choose to prioritize right now. Don’t let another week go by on autopilot.
New year. New strategy. Same mission: run a better business so you can live a better life. I’d love to talk to you more about your plans for this year.
Keep it simple
If your 2026 strategic plan is 17 pages long... that’s not a plan. That’s a paperweight.
One of my favorite tools I share with leadership teams is the V/TO: Vision/Traction Organizer. It simplifies your one-year plan down to what actually matters:
What does success look like 12 months from now?
What are your most important goals for the year?
How will you measure progress?
No fluff. Just traction. A living roadmap that the whole team can rally behind and use to check progress quarterly.
If your strategy feels too heavy to carry forward, maybe it’s time to get lighter. You can download the V/TO organizer on my website…then let’s talk.
Don’t forget about the power of relationships
At the end of last year, I ran into a longtime collaborator at a coffee shop. She was meeting with a client (let’s call her Jane) and we exchanged a quick hello.
A few days later, Jane emailed me.
Turns out, that 2-minute introduction sparked a bigger conversation. My contact had shared about the work I do with leadership teams, and Jane wanted to explore how I could help her company head into 2026 with a clearer strategy.
Here’s the thing: it wasn’t a pitch. It wasn’t planned. It was the fruit of a trusted relationship.
That’s the power of showing up consistently, doing great work, and staying connected. In business and in life, relationships are everything.
What are you doing to invest in yours this year?
Are you in the 80%
Research says that by the end of the first month of the new year, 80% of resolutions have already failed.
Let me ask: are you already off track with your business? Or are you part of the Y% still feeling the momentum for the year?
If things are clicking, great! Double down.
If not, that’s okay; just don’t wait until Q2 to course-correct.
The beauty of the EOS structure and great leadership is that you don’t need to feel frustrated with 2026 if the first 30 days weren’t perfect.
If you need a reset, I’d love to have a call or meet for coffee to help you refocus and get your year back on track. Connect with me and we’ll set it up!
